Thursday, February 26, 2009 The DuplicatorThe enemy always attempts to duplicate what God is doing in one's life by bringing the counterfeit before
the original. This is evident in Jeremiah Chapter 28. The false prophet Hananiah came to the king and the people and
said that the Lord was going to break the yoke of the king of Babylon. Then the true prophet Jeremiah came back with the original
Word because he too was deceived by the counterfeit. Jeremiah wasn't exempt from deception and neither or we. We have
to be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring
lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8

in need of our services. Due to the economic condition with people losing their homes and jobs, God's Word is focusing on
more corporate and individual partnerships to help us bring relief to those in need.

things. Monday, February 16, 2009 The Ventures of FaithThis morning God woke me and I begin to praise Him. Praising Him to the point of tears. I'm sure you
can identify with what I'm describing. Sometimes though we are doing God's work, we at times get off track. But,
I thank God for being who He is and making sure we aren't overtaken by discouragement or frustration. He took me to Malachi
3:10. Yes, that one. You all are familiar with this one, where it says, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That
there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “ If I will not open for you the
windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it." Yes, we know
this refers to our income (monetary possessions). It also refers to any tithe (tenth) of incoming possessions as in Leviticus
it was not only money, but this included grain, seed, fruit etc. . . God was saying to me, is not this what you have
done Germaine? Then He begin to show me how in doing this, He has to stand by His Word. He says in Malachi, once we do this
He is obligated to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there won't be room enough to receive it. Then
I begin to think on just how He has blessed God's Word. Immediately I was back on track. In conclusion, we want
to say to the unemployed lady in Georgia (L.H.) who sent us soaps, shampoos, and a love offering for the Food
and Supplemental Assistance Program, my sister we thank you at God's Word. God is truly going to bless you. He
is obligated to do this and He will!

be blessed! Thursday, February 12, 2009 Can God Make A Way?Leaders today, are just like leaders of the past, faced with challenges and insurmountable
odds. Just like Moses faced an insurmountable challenge in front of him, with the Egyptians behind him.
The people saw the Egyptians and became fearful of what they saw. Moses wasn't fearful at what he saw. He was reminded
of what God did by what he saw. Leaders today must be like Moses, looking ahead to the challenges and viewing the
past by what God has done. Every challenge will soon be a past experience of what God has done. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 Hunger In AmericaGod's Word just received notice that we've been choosen to participate
in Feeding America's fifth national Hunger in America 2009 Study. The purpose of this study is to provide valuable data
that will contribute to policy changes and assist our food bank in securing funding. Yes, hunger is a reality in America.
I know this may be hard for some to grasp, considering that America is viewed as the land of plenty. The truth of the matter
is that hunger and poverty is a huge issue in America. For 1 in 8 Americans, hunger is a reality. Hunger is an issue for millions
of Americans. It is heart breaking to see the statistics. It is time to "Take Action".
